Now that we had decided on a theme for our wedding it was time to think about wedding stationary. We wanted to keep it within the hessian and lace theme so I went about searching for save the dates on Kraft card.

We found these beautiful save the date cards from Ginger Ray, I believe I got them online from Hobbycraft, I can’t find them on Hobbycraft anymore however you can purchase them here from Ginger Ray directly.

a few months after sending the save the dates we started our search for the perfect wedding invite. We found one website called Bride and Groom direct and they can send you a few free samples of invites so we did this but didn’t find the perfect one!

With a bit more research I found the best website for wedding stationary called Tree of Hearts. We fell in love with a guest tree that people can print their thumb print with ink and write their name next to it.

we ordered it and added what we would like personalised on the print. They then email you a proof copy of what it will look like and then you respond with any changes or whether you’d like to go ahead with printing. Included with the price of the guest tree was 3 different colour ink pads with a whole range of colours to choose from. We opted for the usual leaf green picking two lighter shades and one darker shade.

Because I loved the service we received whilst ordering the guest tree we had a look for wedding invitations from Tree of Hearts. You can also order free samples from Tree of Hearts. We eventually found the perfect invites in the style ‘Rustic Lace’. You can view the invites here

We found it easier to draft up our invite text on Microsoft Word then copy and paste it into the text boxes online, that way the words had all been spell checked! The invites we chose came with: the invite itself, RSVP cards, guest information, a band, double sided tape (to stick the band together), string to add to the RSVP cards and white envelopes at a cost of £3.30 each, which I think is such good value for the amazing quality invites we received.

we stuck with the same Rustic Lace for our evening invites and worded them the same as the day time invites. We chose the postcard design rather than an open out card design and these cost us £1.20 each, again these invites came with white envelopes.

We are yet to order our Order of Service but we know we will definitely be ordering the matching ones to the invites.

When I was shopping one day I popped into paperchase and happened to find these perfect table numbers! There are 12 in the pack which is perfect as we are only having 7 tables (excluding the top table). When I bought them they were £3.50 but I’ve just found them in the sale for 75p! (Find table numbers here)

I also found matching place names in Paperchase, it doesn’t look like they sell them anymore as I can’t find them online which would explain why the table numbers are on sale!

Please feel free to comment with where you got your stationary from as I love the hear everyone else’s wedding ideas!

Thanks for reading
