The Ice Twins – S.K Tremayne

A year after one of their identical twin daughters, Lydia, dies in an accident, Angus and Sarah Moorcroft move to the tiny Scottish island Angus inherited from his grandmother, hoping to put together the pieces of their shattered lives.

But when their surviving daughter, Kirstie, claims they have mistaken her identity—that she, in fact, is Lydia—their world comes crashing down once again.

As winter encroaches, Angus is forced to travel away from the island for work, Sarah is feeling isolated, and Kirstie (or is it Lydia?) is growing more disturbed. When a violent storm leaves Sarah and her daughter stranded, Sarah finds herself tortured by the past—what really happened on that fateful day one of her daughters died? This book made me fall in love with reading. I’ve always loved the idea of getting lost in a book but hadn’t ever truly experienced it until reading The Ice Twins.

I couldn’t put this book down and I finished it in four days, even taking time out of our family holiday to get lost in it! It’s written so well with different POV’s and the plot has so many twists and turns I couldn’t guess what was going to happen next.

It made me feel such a mixture of emotions, I was sad, I was angry but mainly I was scared! The ending of this book was so eerie!

I would 100% recommend this book!
